That's it. Queens Of The Stone Ages needs to make a James Bond theme song.

Am I the only one who gets kind of a Kubrick's vibe from these synths?

This is such a sad song. The lyrics are like the saddest words in the world; to feel no love.
And to me the video is like a testament to mankind's depravity.. ruining all in our path, animals non the least.
I don't want it to be so, I want us to change, to be the change we want to see in the world. Because we only have one world...

If depression and near-death experiences is what is needed to create master pieces as this one, so be it... best rock band still standing.

Such an inspiring song, the rhythm, the metre... I like everything about this song, presently.

Saw them yesterday and this song really hit my soul. I had my eyes closed throughout most of the song and just felt the music and lyrics.. It was a magical moment.

I want most of all, for God to take me home, for I'm all alone, in the crowd.

I love this new album. It's so moody and dark and beautiful at the same time.

I think this song is about being depressed (i mean really, as a sickness). Depression is like a vampyre that sucks away your feeling of time and memory and most of your emotions (i feel no love). I had a depression myself and recognize this all too well. For me this is a brilliant song.

man, this is some seriously good songwriting right here. Love the way this breathes and progresses. Everyone's going off on the video (which I love but whatevs) but would you really just listen to that song!

QOTSA HOW DARE YOU NOT BE SYMPATHETIC TO THE MODERN 20 SOMETHING AND USE NON DEAD ANIMALS? Keep the taxidermy coming queens. Actually, whatever the current hot button bleeding heart issue is during the filming of your next video, please do the exact opposite so I can laugh at more whining in the comments section. Bless you, Homme & co.

Does anyone know if Jack &/or Meg White had anything to do with all of this taxidermy? I know Meg was a taxidermist... who knows now. Dean Fertita with lead guitar here and of course The Dead Weather, The Waxwings-they are all such a tightly knit group. Love that Josh Homme is the cop at the end of "Freedom At 21" for Jack's Whites video... If you haven't seen it, check it out.... :)

I must disagree with 49th's post (although some new YouTube tyranny will not allow me to directly reply to his comment)

Queens of the Stone Age's videos have always remained more about the music than the visual.  And the visuals have absolutely been what you call "cheesy" before!  But only if you ignore that the primacy of the visual in QotSA videos is never intended to supercede that of the auditory.  It's like in much of punk music, how the simplicity and brashness of the chords and overall instrumentals may be intended to direct your attention to the lyrics!  And those points aside, I think this is one of the most intriguing and intricately detailed videos they've put out so far.

My faith in Queens of the Stone Age remains UNSHAKEN, nay, it is STRONGER THAN EVER!

Not a big fan of this compared to some of the other awesome videos QOTSA has done. It feels a bit cheesy with Josh's sharp fake nails and the dumb blood effect and stuff...

Love the song and the album but I'm really not convinced by this video: it looks kinda cheap sometimes. Visually speaking some shots are great, thanks to the cams because there is nobody behind, or nobody that can match or at least approach the creativity of the band.

AWESOME!! Longest goosebumps I ever had while watching the interactive video with the lights down ant the volume up. You don't need drugs, this band takes you there man, all my love for this unique and talented ensemble of artists, past and present... they all helped build, what is in my opinion, the most original band of the last 20 years and one of the greatest bands of all time. QOTSA is nothing short than amazing.

Awesome video and very different. Loved it. I'm taking a wild guess that the lady in the painting and the interactive video, "Queenie" is none other than the woman from the cover of QOTSA's self-titled debut album. Looks just like her.
